Absa Bank FC Crowned Champions of TBA Footie Tournament 2026

The highly anticipated TBA Footie Tournament 2026 Final held on 7th August 2026 at the historic Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Grounds. The showdown featured two soccer  giants of Tanzania’s banking sector: Absa Bank FC and Mwanga Hakika Bank FC.

The Tanzania Bankers Association soccer tournament  annual competition is more than just football — it’s a celebration of teamwork, wellness, and unity within the banking fraternity. The tournament continues to embody the collaborative spirit and dedication of Tanzania’s financial community, bringing bankers together in a vibrant socio-sporting environment.

On the pitch, the final was a tightly contested affair. Both sides displayed tactical discipline, sharp passing, and relentless pressing. However, it was Absa Bank FC who found the breakthrough, capitalizing on a well-worked move to slot home the decisive goal.

 In the end, Absa Bank FC edged Mwanga Hakika Bank FC 1–0, clinching the championship title and lifting the trophy in front of an electrified crowd.
